J. Bannon "Destroyer of Worlds: NEON ORANGE" Silkscreened Print
"Destroyer of Worlds" is my mixed media interpretation of Godzilla "The King of the Monsters" (ゴジラ, Gojira). The type on the right portion of the piece reads "I have become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds" in proper Japanese Kanji. The piece was originally created for the Holy Kaiju Art show at Holy Mountain Printing in Raleigh, NC. There were 3 originals made using a mix of ink, gouache, acrylic, and collage on mylar, later mounted to plywood.
The first edition of this print is now sold out. Due to demand I have made a second edition available. Printed by Burlesque of North America in 4 configurations: "Sheen" Chrome Mirror (an organic wave pattern), "Static Storm" Chrome Mirror (an abrasive static rain pattern), Neon Orange (Glow in the Dark), and "Aged Parchment". Each version is limited to 50 prints only, all signed and numbered by myself. Dimensions: 36" W X 18" H.
This is the Neon Orange version.
